Schneider RoadRailers

"Schneider was built on four core values that remain in place today and move the company forward. And every day, these values deliver for shippers and carriers like you."

A RoadRailer is a trailer or semi-trailer that can be hauled on roads by a tractor unit and then by way of a fifth wheel coupling, operate in a unit train on railway lines. The RoadRailer system allows trailers to be pulled by locomotives without the use of flatcars, instead attaching trailers directly to bogies. The advantage of using roadrailers is their ability to be used directly behind other freight (or even passenger) equipment without the use of trailer flatcars.

This item includes 10 Roadrailer cars which has been run very infrequently since purchased new.  All 10 run effortlessly as seen in a video below that was prepared for this sale item. One car has a little damage as can be seen in photos. An extra and rare Deluxe Innovations Roadrailer coupler mate rail bogie is included free. Many plastic part options for the trailers are included.  Asking price for this item is $300.
